Michael Barber, SJ to become the fifth Bishop of Oakland.  Bishop-elect Barber will be ordained to the episcopate and installed as bishop on May 25 at 11:00 am in the Cathedral of Christ the Light, Oakland.  Apostolic Administrator Archbishop Alex J. 4. Have a vocation of service to the community.
5. Being a good student at school.
6. Participate in various events organized at the parish.
Last date of registration of candidates is Tuesday, April 30, 2013.

They joined people from other parishes to be “called by name” by the bishop to receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist at the Easter Vigil. They have studied hard and long and have been found ready by their catechists and their sponsors. It is the responsibility of this community to keep them in our prayers as they go through an intense period of final preparation during this Lenten season.
