Registration for boys’ basketball and girls’ volleyball league is open to all St. Leander students as well as all children that live within the St. Leander parish boundaries.  A map with the parish boundaries is available at signups. Signups are generally held in the St. Leander Gym in early September. Call the Parish Office at (510) 895-5631 for more details.

 CYO Girls Basketball (Season Begins February 1st‘)

Sign-ups for Girls Basketball 2nd – 8th Grade were taken in January 2012.

Who is eligible to play?

St. Leander Students - All St. Leander student are eligible to participate. The only thing St. Leander students needs are the CYO Parental Consent form along with the $85.00 sign-up fee. All paperwork is due at the time of sign-ups.

Parish Boundaries -All students that live within the St. Leander parish boundaries are eligible to participate in CYO. If you are not sure if you live within the parish boundaries, maps will be available at sign-ups. All players need the following:

  • CYO Parental Consent form along with the $85.00 sign-up fee.
  • Copy of your birth certificate
  • Bill copy that shows address and last name. All paperwork is due at the time of sign-ups. (PGM, Garbage, Cable or Home Phone. No Cell Phone Bills!)

Religious Education - All children (Catholic or Non-Catholic) who do not live in the parish boundaries but are currently regularly attending the parish religious education classes and have done so the entire previous school year are eligible. All players need the following:

  • CYO Parental Consent form along with the $85.00 sign-up fee.
  • A letter from the Religious Educator Coordinator that verifies that you attending the classes the previous year.
  • Copy of your birth certificate
  • Bill copy that shows address and last name. All paperwork is due at the time of sign-ups. (PG&E, Garbage, Cable or Home Phone. No Cell Phone Bills!)
